Cowboys WR KaVontae Turpin arrested on drug and gun charges

KaVontae Turpin has been a major piece of Dallas’ return game since signing with the Cowboys in 2022 after a standout stint in the USFL. He’s made the Pro Bowl twice as a return man and found the end zone twice last season, once on a kick return, once on a punt.

It’s not just special teams anymore. KaVontae Turpin carved out a real role in the Cowboys’ offense last year, playing all 17 games and racking up 31 receptions for 420 yards and two touchdowns, while averaging 13.5 yards per catch. His speed and versatility made him one of the more underrated weapons on the Dallas roster.

Now, he could be facing league discipline depending on how the case plays out. The NFL typically waits for the legal process to unfold before handing down punishments, but any suspension would be a blow to Dallas’ return game and depth at wide receiver.

No statement yet from Jerry’s World. Stay tuned.
