Sixers add a few more players as fringe roster moves continue
The Sixers made a couple more offseason moves, adding depth pieces that probably won’t move the needle but might give the Blue Coats a shot at a G League title.
Dominick Barlow is back on a two-way deal, and Tennessee product Igor Milicic Jr. joins the mix on an Exhibit 10. Nothing flashy here. These are some classic end-of-the-roster tinkering as Daryl Morey keeps stacking long, versatile forwards.
Dominick Barlow (Two-Way)
Barlow is a 22-year-old forward who has logged 96 NBA games for the Spurs and Hawks since 2022. He went undrafted out of the Overtime Elite program, but he’s been a nightly 20-and-8 guy in the G League, flashing some real upside. If he can bring any of that production to the NBA level, this is a solid developmental swing. He’s big, active, and still young—exactly the kind of guy you stash on a two-way deal and hope he pops.
Igor Milicic Jr. (Exhibit 10)
No relation to that Milicic, Igor comes from Tennessee after a productive season in the SEC. The 6’10” forward averaged 9.4 points, 6.7 rebounds, and just under 2 assists per game on 47.2% shooting. He also became just the fifth SEC player since 2010 to post three games with 19+ points, 9+ boards, and 4+ assists in a season. That’s not nothing.
Milicic likely heads to the Blue Coats, but the Exhibit 10 gives the Sixers flexibility if he impresses. Decent size, touch, and feel. He’ll get a long look in camp.
New Faces on the Sixers Roster:
- VJ Edgecombe
- Johni Broome
- Trendon Watford
- Igor Milicic Jr. (Exhibit 10)
- Hunter Sallis (Two-Way)
- Jabari Walker (Two-Way)
- Dominick Barlow (Two-Way)
Still some maneuvering to come, but the Sixers’ are clearly prioritizing youth and versatility with these end-of-roster signings.
