AJ Brown sends a league-wide warning on Day 1 of Eagles Training Camp
The Philadelphia Eagles reported for Day 1 of training camp today, but if you thought it would take a few weeks before guys started turning up the heat, you haven’t been paying attention to A.J. Brown.
Before he even took a rep, Brown walked into the NovaCare Complex with a chip on his shoulder the size of the Lombardi Trophy — and made it very clear what this season is about.

Let’s not forget — Brown already got the ring. He played a crucial role in the Eagles’ Super Bowl LIX beatdown of the Kansas City Chiefs, hauling in a crucial 12-yard touchdown to keep the game out of reach and finishing the year with over 1,000 yards despite battling through injuries.
And he’s been everything the Eagles could have dreamed of in a wide receiver. Brown has had 261 catches for 4,031 yards and has scored 25 touchdowns in 47 games for the Eagles in his career.
Here’s how he ranks among the best wide receivers in the NFL since 2022
| Player | Yards |
|---|---|
| Tyreek Hill | 4,642 |
| CeeDee Lamb | 4,314 |
| AJ Brown | 4,187 |
| Amon-Ra St. Brown | 4,045 |
| Justin Jefferson* | 3,890 (only 40 games) |
Yeah, guy’s a total stud. And he’s a winner, which is something that needs to get talked about more. I’d assume like 99.99% of the population after winning the Super Bowl would soak that experience in and admire their new jewelry. But not AJ Brown.

All offseason, he’s looked like a guy possessed. No distractions. No headlines. Just grind. Every time a camera caught him this summer, he looked like a player who wasn’t content with being great — he wants to be immortal.

He’s also stepped up as a true leader. Brown joked that he’s been calling rookie Cooper DeJean “All-Pro Coop,” but don’t get it twisted — this is a guy taking responsibility for the team’s development, especially on the defensive side.
So much for that “locker room diva” talk from 94.1 WIP.

So yeah, go ahead and keep sleeping on AJ Brown. Keep putting other names ahead of him in your little power rankings. Just know he sees it all — and he’s not just coming for your respect, he’s coming for another ring.
