WATCH: Jalen Hurts delivers the perfect response about his play style

Jalen Hurts doesn’t care about your fantasy stats. He doesn’t care about your QB rankings. He doesn’t care if the media says he should throw it more, run it less, or dance around like some highlight-reel quarterback trying to sell jerseys.

All Jalen Hurts cares about is winning and that’s why he is the reigning, defending, undisputed, Super Bowl MVP. We’re just says into training camp and the vibe around the NovaCare Complex is 2024 is over and done with. The Birds are onto 2025, and no one communicated that message better than Jalen Hurts.

Call me a fanboy, I don’t give a damn.

I’m heavily considering becoming Jalen’s personal assistant, so that I can stand by him during his press conferences. Anytime he hits the media with one of his famous quotes; I would sound an alarm so the media rats know whatever was said was an absolute banger.

There was a time…

There was a time, and it was most likely during Jalen’s first year as a starter on the Eagles, where people grew tired of these quotes. Or maybe you could pinpoint the collapse of a season the Birds had following the Super Bowl. Regardless, you can’t roll your eyes or cringe anymore when the man speaks.

Jalen Hurts has weathered every single storm in his football career and won a championship at every single level.

How lucky are we Eagles fans? This guy just gets it and for all the people who thought this laser-focused, stoic, personality was all just an act; sit this one out.

You were wrong about Jalen Hurts but at the end of the day, a lot of people were wrong and are STILL wrong about him, so we won’t hold it against you.

I’m typing this motivated and pissed off at the fact that I had to listen to Spike Eskin and Jack Fritz moan and groan on my way home from work anytime an Eagles fan called into their show praising Jalen Hurts.

Talk about total dorks…but that’s a completely different subject we won’t get into right now. Actually screw it. It just disgusts me that grown men are threatened by Jalen Hurts, and it’s especially disgusting that it comes from two Philadelphia sports media figures during the prime-time drive. But, they aren’t the only ones.

The Anti-Cam Newton Mentality

Let me contrast that with one of the most fraudulent quarterbacks of my lifetime — Cam Newton. Remember him? The dude who had one good season and spent the rest of his career dressing like a fashion blogger who threw ducks in the fourth quarter?

Recently, Cam went viral for saying this:

“I’m taking my MVP over a Super Bowl ring. Because I did my job.”

That’s loser talk. That’s the kind of mindset that gets you bounced out of the league, left holding nothing but Instagram clips and podcast appearances talking about “what could’ve been.”

I never liked Cam Newton. Always thought he was soft. Flashy without substance. Jalen Hurts is the complete opposite. Hurts doesn’t need MVPs to validate him. He’s got the only stat that matters: 1 Super Bowl ring and counting.

Don’t think I won’t bring up the outfits either, Cam.

Jalen is a way better dresser than whatever the hell Cam Newton calls fashion. So, it makes sense why Cam has been disrespecting Hurts. Cam is clearly threatened by him.

Anyways, that’s enough time spent on that social media influencer or whatever he wants to call himself. I’ll keep my attention turned to the Super Bowl Champs, and real winners.
