WATCH: Nakobe Dean hits the practice field early, working his way back in time for Week 1
With training camp underway and the season right around the corner, Nakobe Dean is slowly working his way back from the torn patellar tendon he suffered during the Eagles postseason run last year.
On Tuesday, the linebacker hit the practice field early.
Nakobe Dean putting in the work
Not going to lie, he looks pretty good here. This type of injury is typically a death sentence, but with today’s technology, perhaps Nakobe Dean can really make a strong comeback.
Obviously, I hope he does. Zack Baun gets a lot of credit for the linebacker renaissance in Philly, but we can’t forget the role Dean played. He was just as good as Baun for a good portion of the season.
With Jihaad Campbell in the house, Dean’s return doesn’t need to be rushed at all. But all signs are pointing towards the young backer being ready sooner rather than later.
