Week 1, 12-team playoff or not, if you go on the road and beat a program like Clemson, you celebrate however the hell you want. That’s exactly what LSU fans did Saturday night, storming onto the field at the original Death Valley and dancing their asses off in the end zone.
LSU has been haunted by Week 1 collapses for years. All week, it was Cade Klubnik this, Clemson title contender that. Instead, LSU flipped the script, got their statement win, and then turned Clemson’s house into their dance floor.

I know Clemson lets their fans on the field after games.
Doesn’t matter. That’s irrelevant. What matters is LSU brought the juice, brought Mike the Tiger into the action, and reminded everyone what college football is supposed to be about.
You win big, you party. End of story.
We need more of this. Plant the flag. Dance in the end zone. Don’t act like you’ve been there before. That’s not fun for anyone. I would much rather fanbases act like you care.
For anyone saying, “It’s LSU, they shouldn’t celebrate like this”, wrong. Couldn’t be more wrong if you tried. Games like that should matter. Wins like that definitely matter. It’s Saturday night, week one of college football and it partying on the team’s field after you just won the game made it feel like everything mattered again.
Win. Dance. Celebrate. That’s how it’s supposed to be.
