Jalen Carter spits himself right out of the Eagles opener against the Cowboys like a complete moron
Let’s just call it what it is. The NFL’s new sportsmanship rules are soft. Should Jalen Carter be allowed to spit on Dak Prescott? I say without a doubt, yes, but unfortunately, the NFL adds another line to the code of conduct every year and suddenly things that used to be part of football are treated like war crimes.
With that said, Jalen Carter might be the dumbest man in America right now.
Opening kickoff, Week 1, Eagles-Cowboys, national TV, banner night at The Linc. Teammate injured on the field, Eagles’ defense waiting to take the field, along with Dak Prescott and the Cowboys, and what does Jalen Carter do?
He walks right over to Prescott, talks some shit, and spits on him. Didn’t take a cheap shot. Didn’t light him up with a hit stick. Just spit and straight to the showers.
Jalen Carter ejected for spitting on Dak Prescott
Look, I’ll admit the rule stinks. Football has always been grimy. There’s blood, sweat, snot rockets, all of it. This isn’t golf but if you know the league is cracking down on “sportsmanship” optics, how stupid do you have to be to hand-deliver a flag and an ejection in the first five minutes of the game?
The Eagles need Jalen Carter on the field, not in the locker room doing the “my bad” routine. I would bet a suspension is coming and frankly, I hope when that hammer drops, he doesn’t see a dime of his salary. You don’t get rewarded for spitting yourself out of a rivalry game.
No, I’m not doing the “Dak Prescott Spit First” Charade Either.
Eagles fans. We are world champions. Jalen Carter shouldn’t have been over there to begin with so please, have some dignity. We’re not doing the “Dak spit first” charade. We are the class of the NFL and don’t have time for this shit.
Jalen Carter just kneecapped his own team on the biggest stage possible. New rules, who spit first, is all bullshit and it’s definitely not tough or gritty. It’s just moronic.
