Justice: Phillies fan who got ball stolen by Karen gets rewarded with birthday care package from Marlins employees
Phillies Karen is dominating the timeline today, as expected.
For those who missed it, this angry woman decided to berate a fellow Phillies fan while he was grabbing a homerun ball for his son.
It would’ve been one thing if this man was just taking the ball for himself, but it became obvious pretty quickly that he was getting it for his son. Karen didn’t care. She walked over to him, put hands on him, and lectured him until he gave the ball up and handed it to her. For any man reading this, we’ve all been there. Just give the angry woman what she wants, however trivial, and keep your sanity in check. Not worth the battle.
This moment went viral almost instantly and people wanted justice. Karen didn’t get kicked out of the game, but the Marlins staff decided to step up and gift this young man a birthday care package.
Phillies and Marlins fans alike hate Karens
Thank God there are still normal people out there. Huge shoutout to the Marlins crew for hooking this kid up, it probably made up for missing out on the home run ball. And on top of that, Harrison Bader himself signed his bat and handed it over to the kid. Just awesome all around.
Now, one last note on the woman who refused to quit until she got her precious home run ball: grow up. Adults acting entitled to a ball like that are basically the sports version of Disney Adults. At some point, you’ve got to let it go. Stop hoarding souvenirs and maybe stop watching Finding Nemo during your “self-care” Saturdays.
