Howie Roseman might have his next big Eagles trade target in the crosshairs
I can’t sit through another game of Adoree’ Jackson getting roasted like a marshmallow at a tailgate fire.
I know I’m not alone. Every Eagles fan watching that Cowboys game saw the same thing. Dak Prescott’s beady little eyes lit up every time he saw #8 across from CeeDee Lamb. That’s not championship football and definitely not something we expect from the Eagles secondary.
If this team is actually serious about going back-to-back, then the next move can’t be some bargain-bin free agent off the street. It has to be a trade and a big one at that.
Enter: Denzel Ward, A Howie Roseman Special
Ward checks every single box the Birds are missing at CB2. He’s proven AND he’s in his prime. He makes quarterbacks hesitate. He flips game plans. Adoree Jackson just waves receivers through the toll booth and lets them collect free yardage.
Denzel Ward would slam that gate shut.
Eagles next trade target?
CB Denzel Ward, Browns agree to restructured contract; converting $13.5M 2025 base salary to a bonus, per @DanielOyefusi.

If you’re worried about picks or money, let me stop you right there.
The Eagles have draft capital stacked, and cap space wizardry is literally Howie’s love language. He restructures contracts the way normal people reload the dishwasher, casually, without thinking twice, and better than anyone else alive.
Don’t forget Philly and Cleveland already have a line open.
They pulled off that Kenny Pickett/Dorian Thompson-Robinson swap this offseason. Both front offices operate with the same ruthless flexibility. That makes another deal a whole lot easier.
Cleveland and Philly Already Do Business
The Browns are in a weird spot, and if Howie smells blood, you know he’s circling.
If the Eagles want to hang another banner, this is the move. Denzel Ward in midnight green isn’t just a dream scenario, it’s exactly what a Super Bowl repeat roster demands.
