UPDATE: Charlie Kirk assassinated while speaking at Utah Valley University
Statement from President Donald Trump on Charlie Kirk:
“The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead. No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie. He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us. Melania and my Sympathies go out to his beautiful wife Erika, and family. Charlie, we love you!”

GRAPHIC WARNING: Charlie Kirk shot in the neck while speaking at Utah Valley University
Charlie Kirk, the head of Turning Point USA, was shot in the neck while speaking at Utah Valley University. He was on stage doing what he does best by stirring debate and hosting his “Prove Me Wrong” session when a gun went off. Students bolted. Police swarmed. Kirk was rushed away clutching his neck.
Let’s be clear: this is horrific. Full stop.
The police have this man in custody.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a fan of Charlie Kirk or if you think he’s toxic for America. It doesn’t matter if you agree with his politics or despise them. Nobody deserves to take a bullet for talking in a public setting in front of thousands of college students.
Nobody deserves to take a bullet. Nobody. Period.
Political violence is the ugliest disease this country’s got, and it doesn’t give a damn about your ideology. Today it’s Kirk. Tomorrow it’s someone you cheer for. Once we start answering words with gunfire, democracy rots.
This country was built on the idea that you can stand up, run your mouth, and let people decide. Debate it, mock it, protest it, fine.
Pulling a trigger because you don’t like what somebody says? That’s cowardice and the most anti-American thing you could possibly do. It threatens the fabric of our country and the safety of anyone with a platform.
If you’re celebrating this because it happened to “the other side,” congratulations, you’re part of the problem. You’re helping shred what little fabric of civil society we’ve got left.
Violence doesn’t change minds. It doesn’t win arguments. It only leaves behind fear, blood, and more division. You can despise Charlie Kirk’s politics, but what happened to him is an attack on the very idea of civil debate. If the reaction to speech you don’t like is to pull a gun, then we’ve already lost.
Political violence isn’t righteous. It’s not brave. It’s not justice. It’s cancer. And unless we all draw a hard line and say “hell no, not in this country,” we’re going to watch it eat us alive.
I will post the videos below but fair warning, watch at your own risk.
CAREFUL: The video is extremely graphic and disgusting in every sense of the word.
Honestly, I would avoid them but since we are covering the situation, it’s important to provide all details. I will NOT post the one video since it’s unconfirmed, but the close-up is even more brutal. You can find that by clicking the link above.
