NFL Deep State shill Adam Schefter, the Tush Push, and the NFL’s lowest common denominator
I’m not sure what disgusts me more today on the internet. We have Adam Schefter’s embarrassing rant on ESPN and the avalanche of brain-dead NFL fans who once again exposed themselves as the absolute scum of the earth going head-to-head because of the Philadelphia Eagles’ short yardage quarterback sneak, better known as the Tush Push.
All of it over a one-yard quarterback sneak. The Tush Push. That’s what broke the brains of millions of football fans on an Eagles’ Victory Monday. Apparently, the play is a crime and the sole reason that football is being ruined.
Yes, it’s only Week 2 of the 2025 NFL season.
We’ll start with the most ridiculous statement of the day, which came courtesy of paid crisis actor Adam Schefter, who hopped on some lousy ESPN show and dropped this gem of a quote saying the Chiefs didn’t lose yesterday, they actually lost in March when the NFL failed to garner enough votes to ban the Tush Push.
Adam Schefter doing the bidding of the NFL Deep State
I mean seriously, what the fuck? Adam Schefter is a corporate shill? I could have sworn people told me he was a man of the people. Instead, when asked about what the Chiefs biggest problem is, he starts on some scripted rant about them losing this game… last March? Because the NFL didn’t ban the Tush Push?
Did someone kill me?
I think I’m stuck in purgatory between common sense and complete lunacy.
Adam Schefter will an all-time loser quote
“This game was lost in March. This game was lost when the NFL owners refused to ban the tush push from happening. It wasn’t lost yesterday.”
ESPN should be ashamed of themselves. That’s not analysis or even a valid opinion.
I guess Adam Schefter didn’t watch the game. In fact, I’m fair confident that he didn’t. If he did, he would know damn well that the Tush Push was such a small factor in the final score. Forget Patrick Mahomes throwing a back-breaking interception, Travis Kelce not being able to catch the football, or the Chiefs offensive line getting bullied into submission.
Adam Schefter doesn’t believe it’s about the fact that the Eagles have now beaten Kansas City three straight times either. Nah, it was “lost in March” because the owners didn’t ban the Tush Push.
Am I going crazy or is that the dumbest shit this man has ever said?
I don’t know if Adam Schefter even believes half the garbage that comes out of his mouth anymore or if he’s just copy-pasting whatever crying GM texted him after the game.
Either way, it’s pathetic and I don’t know if I’ll ever look at Schefty in the same light.
The Reaction Online Was Arguably Worse.
If you thought you hated the Twitter Analysts who think rewatching a football game gives them some type of “insight” into what’s really going on, today might send you overboard.
It’s week 2 of the NFL season and the entire internet is crying like toddlers because the Philadelphia Eagles are better than everyone else in the trenches.
Every fanbase, every wannabe football guy, every idiot with a Twitter account has taken this to the lowest of levels. They have no morals, no dignity, and no shame in trying to spin a QB sneak into the biggest controversy in sports.
Why? Because their team can’t run it.
Instead of coming up with a scheme to stop it, their coaching staffs spent all offseason begging the league office to legislate it away. They can’t handle the reality that the Eagles are just tougher and smarter than everyone else.
The play is legal. The play is football. The play wins games. That’s it. The Tush Push isn’t ruining the sport at all. It’s exposing everyone else for being soft, lazy, and unprepared while also making the non-football guys who claim to be football guys look like complete morons.
It’s fascinating, really.
The hypocrisy of NFL fans will always be infuriating, right alongside the fact that Adam Schefter is a total fraud and being fed the worst talking points imaginable, straight from GM and league offices.
Again, t’s only Week 2, and everyone is already showing their true colors so I will as well. If you spent all day today complaining about the Tush Push and the Philadelphia Eagles, then you’re a fucking moron.
Go Birds.
