WATCH: Entrepreneur says it’s ‘disgusting’ when employees wear Eagles, Philly sports gear to work

No Eagles merch at work after an Eagles’ Super Bowl win in Philadelphia? In the world of social media, it’s no secret to anyone plugged in that there’s a ton of garbage content out there that floods your timelines.

For me, the “tough guy” entrepreneur’s who pretend to be Andrew Tate are the absolute worst ones out there. Nothing shows that more than this local ‘entrepreneur’ filming a video clip in which he forces one of his employee’s to remove his Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl merch.

Imagine posting this video and thinking it makes you look good, even more so when it’s involving the city of Philadelphia and their beloved sports teams…

WATCH: Entrepreneur makes Eagles fan take off his merch

“I think it’s disgusting, when I see people wearing Eagles gear, and Phillies gear… A game’s totally different, but when people are wearing it… You heard the story with one of the (Munz Roofing and Siding) guys, we won the Super Bowl and he’s wearing an Eagles hat in the office and I literally walked up to him and said ‘what are you doing?’ He’s like, ‘what?’ And I’m like, ‘you’re wearing an Eagles hat in my building.’ He’s like, ‘we just won the Super Bowl,’ and I’m like, ‘remove the hat or leave my building.’ The Eagles don’t care about you, they’re not coming to your funeral, they don’t pay your kids’ bills. We support nothing but LB Capital or the brands we represent here. And I just have that across all my businesses.”

There’s no way this dude actually believes the shit he’s saying in this video, right?

Look, I understand that a company may have a dress code. That’s perfectly fine, but if you don’t then maybe just focus on the business and leave your employees alone. Assuming this dude with the Eagles gear on is showing up on time and doing his job, there’s no need for any of this.

Honestly, I’m shocked this guy thought this would be a good video to post in the first place. Did he really think that anyone would be like “yeah, this is a good leader” and actually appreciate the way he was treating people who work for him?

I have my doubts.

“Your favorite team doesn’t like you”. Who gives a fuck, brother.

God forbid we all have a hobby and passion for something outside of work that brings us joy and energizes us, which in turn actually makes us more productive at work.

Wild concept indeed.

The best part about this is, we all know this clown doesn’t care about his employees anyways. Sure, I have bias because I’ve worked up in the Great Northeast at RushOrderTees, where our owner printed us Eagles Super Bowl LIX Champion t-shirts on his own dime and actually encouraged employees to wear them, represent the city, and adjusted schedules to ensure that people could attend the parade.

That’s a leader of men. This dork in the vid needs a lesson on culture.

The better the culture, the more people will want to work and “build something” with you. They will care about your company, be motivated to come to work, get the job done, work longer hours if necessary, and actually feel like they are a part of something, no matter what their job is within the organization.

As a wise mind once said: “Go Birds, Dickhead!”
