Jordan Davis plays hero, Eagles stun Rams at the buzzer 33-26

Jordan Davis just etched his name into Eagles history with one of the wildest finishes you’ll ever see.

With the Rams lining up for a game-winning 44-yard field goal as time expired, Davis bulldozed through the line, swatted Joshua Karty’s kick, scooped it up, and rumbled 61 yards the other way for a walk-off touchdown.

Lincoln Financial Field erupted as the Eagles sealed a 33-26 comeback win, their 12th straight at home.

It was the Eagles second blocked field goal of the fourth quarter. Earlier, Jalen Carter got his mitts on a 36-yarder to keep the Eagles alive.

That set up Jalen Hurts, who pieced together a gutsy 17-play, 91-yard drive capped off by a fourth-and-goal touchdown strike to DeVonta Smith.

The Birds went from down 26-7 in the third to leading late, but Matthew Stafford gave the Rams one last shot… only for Davis to slam the door shut in legendary fashion.

Hurts looked shaky early, but when it mattered most, he dialed up A.J. Brown and Smith to march Philly down the field. Smith’s go-ahead score felt like the dagger until Davis delivered the kill shot.

The only real letdown was Saquon Barkley. After torching the Rams last season for 255 yards in the regular season and 205 more in the playoffs, he was bottled up this time. Just 46 yards on the ground, making it three straight quiet games for the star back.

The win didn’t come without bruises. Lane Johnson exited with a neck issue, Adoree’ Jackson tweaked a groin, and rookie wideout Darius Cooper hurt his shoulder.

Yes, the Eagles started slow but finished with fireworks. Hurts proved once again he’s never out of a fight, Carter and Davis turned special teams into chaos, and the Eagles walked away 3-0 with yet another highlight for the ages.
