I need to address the rats on social media who called me names after I suggested that the Phillies and CBP needed to remove a digital Ohtani Beats ad from the broadcast
At the start of Game 2, I fired off a tweet showing the green screens behind home plate at Citizens Bank Park. TBS was showing an advertisement for Beats headphones featuring Shohei Ohtani. I jokingly said that the CBP Twitter account should remove it immediately.
Social Media says I’m an idiot and never watched the Phillies after I posted this tweet
Honestly, I thought it was funny but apparently I was just signing my own death wish to everyone else on social media.
Somehow, that tweet was taken as if I never watched baseball before and have never been to a Phillies game and that I didn’t understand the ads were digitally projected onto the backstop behind home plate at Citizens Bank Park.
To say the least, I was appalled by the reaction from the rats on social media.

It’s always the idiots that never show their true identity on the internet talking shit.
Hey idiots, do you actually think it’s our first game covering the Phillies? Time to educate yourselves. This website generates six figures in revenue and welcomes over 500,000 unique visitors on a monthly basis.
I know that it’s a green screen. Obviously it’s a fucking green screen.
I don’t even know what you rat commenters are trying to prove with your comments. Are you that passionate about defending the Citizens Bank Park Twitter account that you have to call me horrible names over a dumb tweet?
That tweet, by the way, generated nearly 1,000 likes, 30+ comments, and 75,000 impressions so who’s the fucking idiot now?
Oh and by the way, I’m the Director of Marketing for RushOrderTees in Northeast Philadelphia. I literally purchase digital billboards and I’m responsible for the t-shirt cannons and all the digital advertising inside Xfinity Mobile Area for the Philadelphia 76ers.
Now you faceless accounts want to comment and talk shit? Maybe think again. The Liberty Line is the biggest independent sports blog in the entire fucking city.
You should all be praising me and asking me questions on how you can become half as successful as I am. You should be begging to learn how I created an internet empire out of thin air in the middle of COVID when there weren’t sports being played.
If not, kindly fuck off, k?
Look, I get it. All you simple minded freaks are emotional softies and just looking for a place to let out all of your frustrations.
By all means, hit the comment section and try to clown The Liberty Line, specifically me, for tweeting at CBP and telling them to remove the advertisement.
If that makes you feel better, then I will certainly fall on that sword.
Just don’t think for a second I actually thought that those advertisements were being displayed at the ballpark. I don’t make mistakes. Period.
If you want to talk about something, go back a few years ago when I was completely blacked out and attempted to convince an entire section in the Hall of Fame club that the ivy out in centerfield was fake.
That was just a joke but outside of that, I have a flawless record at Citizens Bank Park and have been attending baseball games there for nearly two decades – longer than the majority of you have been alive.
Anyways, the Phillies are cooked. Tonight was a disaster. Rob Thomson should be fired after that Bryson Stott bunt and this core might never live up to expectations.
At least we have Aaron Nola on the mound Wednesday night, right?
