WATCH: No Effort Chris Jones completely gives up on game-deciding TD run by Trevor Lawrence

To any Chiefs fan who might be reading this — here’s some advice: the sooner you accept that the Chris Jones–led Kansas City Chiefs dynasty is dead, the easier it’ll be to move on.

We’ve been watching the downfall in slow motion since the Eagles absolutely buried KC in last year’s Super Bowl. The final straw? Chris Jones ghosting on the game-winning touchdown run — the perfect cherry on top.

Fast forward to Monday night: Jaguars ball, first-and-goal from the Chiefs’ three with 30 seconds left. Trevor Lawrence trips as soon as he gets the snap, stumbles, somehow stays upright, breaks a tackle, and strolls into the end zone. Meanwhile, Chris Jones just stands there and watches it happen.

That play right there marked the official end of the dynasty. You can’t convince me otherwise.

Chris Jones — the best player on that defense — flat-out gave up. The whole unit looks cooked, tired, and completely lifeless. The magic’s gone. The Kingdom is dead. And when your defensive captain is the one quitting, there’s no coming back from that.

Good riddance. The worst dynasty in professional sports history has finally collapsed. Will the Eagles fill the void? Maybe. But first, they’ve got to clean up their own mess. At least they’re still out there showing some fight.
