Eagles vs. Giants: Odds, Props, and Picks
For the first time in almost a year, the Eagles are lining up after a loss.
Last season’s Week 4 disaster in Tampa was followed by ten straight wins, so let’s hope history repeats itself on a short week against a divisional opponent, gift wrapped on Thursday Night Football primetime.

The (Liberty) Lines
Eagles (4-1) at Giants (1-4), Thursday 8:15pm
- Spread / ML: Eagles -7.5 (-390) | Giants +7.5 (+310)
- Total Points (O/U): 40.5
Short week on the road? Normally a trap. I’m willing to throw that risk out of the window because we’re talking about a short bus ride up the Jersey Turnpike and a pissed off Eagles’ offense, guided by Jalen Hurts, AJ Brown, Saquon Barkley, and DeVonta Smith.
The line itself feels a little fat at 7.5, I would personally buy it down if you want to play it safe. The Giants are coughing up 25+ a game.
The Eagles offense is ready to have a signature performance on offense. This could get enter “blowout” territory sooner than later.
Picks: Eagles ML, OVER 40.5
Passing Props
- Jalen Hurts: 196.5 yards | 1.5 TD (+158/-215) | 18.5 completions | 26.5 attempts
- Jaxson Dart: 177.5 yards | 0.5 TD (-198/+146) | 18.5 completions | 30.5 attempts
The Broncos game plan made zero sense. Hurts threw the ball 38 times for 280 yards. The Giants give up 237 a game through the air, so 200+ is in reach without asking him to sling it 40 times again. Dart, meanwhile, is averaging 5.2 yards/attempt. To hit 178, he’d need to throw it 34+ times.
That’s math, folks.
Picks: Hurts OVER yards, Dart OVER yards
Rushing Props
- Saquon Barkley: 85.5 yards | 18.5 attempts
- Hurts: 40.5 yards | 8.5 attempts
- Dart: 37.5 yards | 7.5 attempts
Saquon’s due for his first 100-yard game, and the Eagles run D has been leaky when teams get to the edges. Dart’s running game isn’t a gimmick either. The rookie QB cracked 50 in both of his starts.
Picks: Barkley OVER yards, Dart OVER yards
Receiving Props
- A.J. Brown: 64.5 yards | 4.5 receptions
- DeVonta Smith: 50.5 yards | 4.5 receptions
- Wan’Dale Robinson: 45.5 yards | 5.5 receptions
- Dallas Goedert: 34.5 yards | 4.5 receptions
- Theo Johnson: 29.5 yards | 3.5 receptions
- Barkley: 15.5 yards | 2.5 receptions
With Malik Nabers sidelined, the Giants passing attack is flat and too reliant on Dart to make throws. When he does get rid of the ball, he’s targeted Theo Johnson 12 times in two games.
For the Birds, DeVonta Smith has been open against literally everyone and I don’t see how that would not continue on Thursday night.
Barkley has gone over 2.5 grabs in 4 of 5 so that seems like easy money. I like AJ Brown getting his as well if you really want to go heavy here.
Picks: Johnson OVER receptions, Barkley OVER receptions and yards, Smith OVER receptions and yards
Anytime TD Scorers
- Barkley -160
- Hurts -130
- Cam Skattebo +130
- A.J. Brown +190
- DeVonta Smith +240
- Dallas Goedert +250
- Dart +300
- Wan’Dale Robinson +350
- Theo Johnson +430
- Eagles Defense +600
- Giants Defense +1100
Barkley and Hurts are weekly staples, but Dart has tunnel vision for Johnson in the red zone (three TDs in two games). If you want to get sick (I do), sprinkle an Eagles defensive score at +600.
Picks: Barkley, Hurts, Johnson, Eagles Defense
Short week, division game, ugly Giants team. The Eagles don’t need style points but I’m sure they will be foaming at the mouth to get them. Punch the G-Men in the mouth and get back to 5-1.
