Eagles vs. Vikings: Predictions, props, and why the Birds will snap their losing streak in Minnesota
The Eagles are in unfamiliar territory. They will enter Week 7 losers of two straight and searching for rhythm on offense, all while catching heat from literally everyone in Philly after a sluggish start to October.
Now it’s time to right the ship Sunday in Minnesota against a rested 3-2 Vikings team coming off a bye week.
Philadelphia enters as a 1.5-point favorite (-125 ML) on BetMGM, with a game total set at 43.5. The Vikings are slight underdogs at +105, and both teams desperately need this one to keep pace in the NFC playoff race.

Eagles Outlook: Enough Talent to Turn It Around
The Eagles haven’t looked like defending Super Bowl champions lately. The offense has been out of sync, and Jalen Hurts’ decision-making hasn’t been as sharp as it was early in the season. Still, the talent is undeniable.
Hurts, Saquon Barkley, A.J. Brown, and DeVonta Smith form one of the best offensive groups in football. And while the unit’s been held to 17 points in back-to-back games, there’s no reason to think that continues. Barkley, in particular, is due for a breakout — and he’s facing a Vikings defense ranked 25th in rush EPA and 24th in yards allowed per game (132.2).
If the Eagles establish the run and clean up the turnovers, they should walk out of U.S. Bank Stadium with a win. The defense is still elite, ranking sixth in opponent pass efficiency, and Carson Wentz hasn’t exactly been lighting the world on fire.
Vikings Outlook: Flawed, But Dangerous
The Vikings’ 3-2 record looks respectable on paper but dig deeper and it’s less impressive. Two of those wins came against the Browns and Bengals. Still, Justin Jefferson remains an absolute game-breaker. He’s coming off back-to-back 120+ yard games, totaling 249 yards in his last two outings.
Even against an Eagles secondary that’s allowed the 12th fewest passing yards in the league, Jefferson is a threat to explode.
Wentz, however, hasn’t been great, ranking 32nd among 39 quarterbacks in PFF offensive grade. He’s facing one of the most physical front sevens in football. If Minnesota falls behind early, it’s hard to see them keeping up.
NFL Best Bets: Eagles vs. Vikings (DraftKings Sportsbook)
Jalen Hurts Anytime Touchdown (-115)
Yeah, it’s the obvious pick but it’s a lock for a reason. Hurts has five rushing touchdowns in four games, and the “tush push” continues to be unstoppable. Every time the Eagles get inside the 3-yard line, you already know what’s coming and nobody’s stopped it yet.
Justin Jefferson Over 78.5 Receiving Yards (-111)
Jefferson’s been on fire, averaging 125 yards over his last two games on heavy target volume. Even against a good Eagles secondary, it’s hard to bet against him right now. Expect him to finish in the 90–110 range again — the only question is whether it comes in a win or a loss.
A.J. Brown Over 60.5 Receiving Yards (-111)
No secret that AJ Brown’s production has dipped hard. He’s at 274 yards and one touchdown on 25 catches this season and has only topped 45 yards twice. His target share is still high. The Vikings’ defense allows the second fewest passing yards in the NFL, making this a tough spot to bounce back.
Doesn’t matter though. AJ Brown is going to get his early and often. Book it.
Same-Game Parlay (+700 odds on BetMGM)
- Eagles Moneyline (-125)
- Jalen Hurts Anytime TD (-115)
- Justin Jefferson Over 78.5 Receiving Yards (-111)
- A.J. Brown Over 60.5 Receiving Yards (-111)
This combination rides the most consistent recent trends with Hurts finding the end zone, Jefferson torching defenses regardless of coverage, and Brown continuing his frustrating stretch.
Final Prediction: Eagles 27, Vikings 20
Hurts and Barkley lead the charge on the ground, the defense forces a couple of Wentz turnovers, and the Eagles get back in the win column after two weeks of frustration.
Jefferson does his usual damage, but it’s not enough to overcome the gap in talent or the urgency of an Eagles team that knows they can’t afford a third straight loss.
