Owen Tippett stays hot, Flyers beat up Kraken 5-2

The Flyers are starting to find some rhythm. They picked up their second straight win Monday night, taking down the Seattle Kraken 5-2 at Xfinity Mobile Arena behind another big night from Owen Tippett.

Tippett scored twice, giving him four goals in the last three games, and he’s finally looking like the player who was pushing 30 goals not long ago.

His first came on a Nick Seeler redirect in the first period, and his second was a sharp-angle rip that beat Joey Daccord in the second.

Rick Tocchet called him “a guy taking charge,” and you can see it every shift. He’s fast, physical, and playing with purpose again.

Shoutout to Owen Tippett.

Owen Tippett scores twice

Travis Konecny got on the board for his first of the season off a slick feed from Matvei Michkov, while Tyson Foerster and Noah Cates each buried one on the power play. Dan Vladar was solid in net, stopping 21 of 23 shots.

The Flyers went 2-for-4 on the power play, a sight for sore eyes after years of struggling in that department. Cam York picked up three assists running the point, and the Cates-Foerster-Brink line continues to be a real weapon.

Nikita Grebenkin also made his presence felt, immediately dropping the gloves with Seattle’s Cale Fleury after a hit on Garnet Hathaway.

It was one of those nights where everyone seemed to pull in the same direction. Philadelphia moves to 3-2-1, Tippett’s catching fire, and the Flyers are starting to look like a team that actually believes again.

Travis Konecny is an animal, btw…
