Spread / Moneyline

  • New York Giants +7.5 (+300)
  • Philadelphia Eagles -7.5 (-375)

Over/Under: 43.5 points

Preview:

This matchup still screams “Revenge Game,” but the outlook has changed with A.J. Brown officially ruled out due to a hamstring injury. The Eagles will now have to rely heavily on DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert in the passing game, while running backs Saquon Barkley and Cam Skattebo headline the ground battle on both sides.

Eagles vs. Giants: Storylines to watch in Week 8

Philly is still the better team on paper, but losing their top receiver alters how explosive the offense can be. The Birds have yet to win by more than seven this season, and without Brown, that task becomes tougher. Expect a more methodical game plan and a greater emphasis on the short and intermediate passing game.

Picks: Giants +7.5, Over 43.5

Passing Props

Jaxson Dart: 199.5 yards | 1.5 TDs (+116 / -154) | 18.5 completions | 31.5 attempts
Jalen Hurts: 204.5 yards | 0.5 TDs (-230 / +168) | 18.5 completions | 27.5 attempts

Hurts has been locked in lately, throwing for over 280 yards in three straight games, but without Brown, his deep-ball production could dip. Expect more looks toward Smith, Goedert, and even Saquon Barkley out of the backfield.

Dart has been steady for New York, tossing seven touchdowns in his last four games while showing poise under pressure.

Picks: Hurts Over completions, Dart Over yards

Rushing Props

Saquon Barkley: 79.5 yards | 17.5 carries
Cam Skattebo: 55.5 yards | 14.5 carries
Jaxson Dart: 37.5 yards | 6.5 carries
Jalen Hurts: 29.5 yards | 8.5 carries

With Brown out, the Eagles could lean more on their running game to balance things out. Barkley should see his heaviest workload of the season as New York looks to control the clock. Skattebo, meanwhile, gashed Philly for 98 yards in Week 6 and has been one of the most efficient rookie backs in football.

Picks: Barkley Over yards, Barkley Over carries, Skattebo Over yards, Dart Over carries

Receiving Props

Wan’Dale Robinson: 51.5 yards | 5.5 receptions
Dallas Goedert: 41.5 yards | 4.5 receptions
Theo Johnson: 32.5 yards | 3.5 receptions
Barkley: 15.5 yards | 2.5 receptions
Skattebo: 21.5 yards | 3.5 receptions

With A.J. Brown sidelined, DeVonta Smith becomes the clear WR1 and should see a massive target share. Goedert also figures to benefit, especially over the middle of the field where Hurts is most comfortable. Robinson remains the engine of New York’s passing game, and Theo Johnson has been gaining trust in the red zone.

Picks: Smith Over yards (if posted), Goedert Over yards, Robinson Over yards, Barkley Over receptions

Anytime Touchdowns

  • Barkley (-155)
  • Hurts (-140)
  • Skattebo (-110)
  • Goedert (+175)
  • Smith (+185)
  • Dart (+220)
  • Robinson (+280)
  • Johnson (+290)
  • Eagles Defense (+550)
  • Giants Defense (+1000)

Without Brown, expect Hurts to look for Smith and Goedert in the red zone. Barkley remains a near lock for New York given his volume, and Skattebo continues to be a solid play with how the Giants use him near the goal line.

Picks: Smith, Goedert, Barkley, Eagles Defense

What the Line Is Saying

The line opened with the Eagles as 7.5-point favorites and hasn’t moved much despite Brown’s injury. That’s interesting considering he’s arguably their most impactful skill player. Philly has drawn roughly 70% of the early betting handle, but the absence of Brown could lead to sharper money shifting toward New York before kickoff.

Anytime Touchdown Locks:

  • Jalen Hurts Anytime TD (-140)
  • DeVonta Smith Anytime TD (+185)
  • Dallas Goedert Anytime TD (+175)

This game still sets up well for the Eagles, but it will look different without A.J. Brown. Hurts will need to spread the ball around and rely more on timing and accuracy than pure explosiveness. The Giants will try to repeat their Week 6 magic, but the Eagles’ home-field advantage and defensive adjustments should tilt the game in their favor.
