Bad Beat: Thoughts and prayers for this bettor, who was inches away from turning $15 into $1 million

What a weekend. Our Philly sports teams couldn’t lose, beers were flowing like water down in South Philly, and the bet slips for most of us, were cashing left and right.

Unfortunately, massive highs for some turn to crushing lows for others. Nothing describes that quite like this slip that BR Betting dropped, making every sports bettor collectively vomit in pain.

One unlucky patriot was just one Cade Otton touchdown away from turning $15 into a million dollars. Let me say that again… fifteen bucks to one milly. Gone.

This is the bad beat of the century. Imagine sitting there, checking legs off the parlay, and having it all come down to Cade Otton and then this happens…

Goes without saying, that would have been a life-changing turn of events. It’s the type of beat that ruins your week, your appetite, and your faith in humanity. If that ticket had my name on it, I’m telling you right now, I’m not getting out of bed for at least a week.
