WATCH: DeVonta Smith couldn’t hide his disgust after AJ Brown gets hit with another stupid trade question

DeVonta Smith has always been a real one — and always will be. He usually keeps it quiet, but when a reporter hit AJ Brown with another dumb question, Smitty had to step in.

With the trade deadline gone and AJ still in Philly, reporters wouldn’t drop the tired narrative. Every question was the same lazy nonsense: “So, how about those trade rumors?” It’s honestly disgusting that these brainless reporters get to control the sports conversation in this city.

Eventually, one of them asked AJ if this is where he even wants to be. That’s when DeVonta, standing right next to him, finally had enough.

Thank God for Smitty, man. It seems like everyone is fed up with this nonsensical narrative surrounding AJ. And yet, these reporters just can’t let it go. It’s honestly getting weird at this point.

Let it go, the Birds have a huge game this week against an NFC contender. Ask something about that. Literally anything else other than something about the trade rumors. It’s getting real fucking old!
