Next thing you know, some unhinged gambler pops up and starts screaming like Butler personally emptied his bank account.

This is exactly what happens when sports gambling addiction meets unlimited free time meets a guy who has clearly never hit a parlay in his life.

The video is pure chaos. A dude who can barely form a sentence starts rambling at Jimmy like he is a customer service rep for DraftKings. Then he hits Jimmy with the incredible question of whether he “works for Vegas.”

And the best part is the bet itself. Who on earth is wagering real money on Jimmy Butler to score 30 points at this stage of his career? Jimmy is still great but he is not dropping 30 every night and everyone with a functioning brain knows that.

Also, who the Hell is betting Jimmy to score 30+ points these days? Let alone wagering that much on it. If you have that kind of money to be betting I’d highly recommend getting an education. Like what on earth did I just hear?

The timing of the video lines up with Butler’s recent near 30 point game against the Spurs. That is the closest he has been to the number since opening night. This season he is averaging 19.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.5 steals. This guy bet on an outlier performance and then acted shocked when his outlier did not happen.

He placed a bad bet and blamed the athlete instead of his own delusion. Very on brand for the modern gambling community.
