Disgusting Behavior: Eagles fans allegedly throw rocks at Kevin Patullo’s home

The video going around that allegedly shows kids throwing rocks at Kevin Patullo’s house is embarrassing on every possible level.

It is not fully confirmed that the house is his, but several people in the comments swear it truly is Kevin Patullo’s home. If that turns out to be true, those kids should be arrested and charged. If it is not his home, then they just vandalized some random family’s property for absolutely no reason.

Either way, congratulations, they are complete idiots.

Kids are stupid. That is just reality. They hear the rage, the jokes, the memes, the over-the-top meltdown reactions from adults online, and they take it literally.

This group probably still has their permits and an 11 p.m. curfew, and now they are out there trying to go viral like they are doing some heroic act on behalf of Eagles fans everywhere.

In their heads, they probably thought everyone would love their little stunt and treat them like saviors of the season. Instead, they look like a bunch of South Jersey losers who absolutely do not represent the rest of us.

It is already bad enough that the national media and local media torch Eagles fans for doing perfectly normal things like booing.

We boo the offense and suddenly we are the worst fanbase in sports. We chant “Fire Kevin” on Black Friday and everyone rushes to lecture us on morals.

The entire conversation was already a mess.

Now we have teenagers throwing rocks at a guy’s house because they think Kevin Patullo is single-handedly responsible for every problem in the world.

You cannot have that. You cannot defend it. You cannot pretend it is “Philly passion.” It is stupidity, plain and simple. Boo the offense. Be angry. Demand better. Call for coaches to be fired if you want.

All of that is fair game but someone’s home and family should always be off limits. This is not Philly toughness.

This is not loyalty. This is not holding the standard. This is just a bunch of kids acting out because they wanted attention and got it for all the wrong reasons.

Go Birds, and for the love of god, act like you have some sense.
