Tyrese Maxey Joel Embiid Quote Ramona Shelburne

Ramona Shelburne dropped one of the most pointless quotes ever about Tyrese Maxey now being the face of the Philadelphia 76ers franchise and I absolutely hate everything about it

Honestly, I was shocked to see this quote floating around on notable NBA accounts, talking about ‘groundbreaking‘ news that Tyrese Maxey is now considered the face of the Philadelphia 76ers franchise.

Ramona Shelburne was slopping it up on some media outlet, (probably ESPN), and dropped the following quote about the current state of the Philadelphia 76ers.

“I think the feeling is that this is Tyrese Maxey’s team, and over the summer it started to turn that page because people just frankly didn’t know when Paul George and Joel Embiid would be able to play … and so the Sixers had to pivot—and it turns out Tyrese Maxey is really good and he is the franchise now.”

Ramona Shelburne on Tyrese Maxey and the Philadelphia 76ers…?

Oh wow. Breaking fucking news… I guess.

I literally have no iea how the NBA media is able to say stuff like this and somehow, it passes as actual news worth talking about.

Why would anyone care about something like this? Does anyone really give a shit who the “face of the franchise is” for Sixers’ basketball?

Does anyone give two fucks about what the front office thinks in general?

The answer is obviously no and Ramona Shelburne should be absolutely ashamed of herself for putting such slop out there for the social media rats to eat up.

If anything, this entire ordeal is just a Joel Embiid hit piece disguised as actual news under a Tyrese Maxey headline.

Anyone with half of a brain knows that the days of prime Joel Embiid are gone. His knees are cooked. His massive body has failed to hold up and it has completely derailed his generational career as one of the best NBA players in the history of the game.

Embiid will never get back to normalcy. We all know that. Hell, at this point, Joel himself knows that and finally, this year was the first time he has ever come to terms with it. He’s been playing when he can, and is here to help this team win.

He wants to focus on being healthy for the playoffs and also knows that from here on out, this is all in the hands of god and out of his control.

Embiid has accepted his fate. He understands what needs to be done moving forward and overall, the fanbase is also finally accepting that reality too. All that’s left for Embiid is staying healthy and contributing as much as his body allows him to. It’s a dark end to The Process but it’s the unfortunate truth we have all accepted.

Joel Embiid Earlier This Week:

“If anybody thinks that I don’t want to play every game, that’s their problem, but I think history has shown that I would do anything just to play one game of basketball.”

What am I supposed to do with the news that 25-year old Tyrese Maxey the franchise?

Seriously though. What is this headline and why should anyone care?

I know I already said this but none of this is news to anyone.

Tyrese Maxey is the engine that drives this basketball team. Wow. Groundbreaking stuff, Ramona Shelburne. Stop the presses and tell us what happens next you fucking asshole.

Side Note: Even mentioning Paul George is so fucking funny. I thought it was a fake tweet at first but God damn, that one had me laughing.

Joel Embiid hate disguised as Tyrese Maxey

This is all pointless slop and the latest hit piece of the NBA Deep State to really punish our guy Joel Embiid. That’s all it is. They Hate The Process. If you’ve been paying attention, then you know that already.
