If I was SteveWillDoIt, I would have framed this story in a completely different tone.

How about “I spent $15k to realize that my ex-girlfriend is a hoe” instead?

Either way, the internet is a wild place. You can be a normal “7” with a steady job and hell, even a decent jump shot, and it does not matter. The moment you start dating above your league, you are competing with professional athletes, millionaires, billionaires, and verified accounts that treat Instagram like a recruiting trail.

There is no playbook to defend that type of behavior and it’s also not the first time Steve has been in a situation like this. A few weeks ago, an MMA fighter allegedly showed up at his house, hung out for a few minutes, and left with his girl. Now we have this story about a courtside date turning into an NBA poaching session.

At some point, you have to stop pointing fingers at the athletes and start asking why every woman SteveWillDoIt dates ends up in someone else’s highlight reel.

The girl deserves some questioning too. Patterns exist for a reason.
