WATCH: Steph Curry does the impossible, drills a shot from the Warriors’ tunnel during warmups

After missing the last five games, Steph Curry finally returned to the Warriors lineup on Friday night against a Minnesota Timberwolves team without Anthony Edwards.

The game itself mattered, sure, but that was never going to be the main event. With Steph Curry back in the building, the real show started well before tip-off.

One clip went viral almost immediately, and of course it involved Curry doing something that made absolutely no sense. During warmups, Steph launched a basketball from the Warriors tunnel.

Not from half court. Not from the logo. From the tunnel… and he hit it clean.

At first, I genuinely thought it was AI. In 2025, that is a completely reasonable reaction. You cannot trust anything you see online anymore. Deepfakes, fake highlights, fake quotes. Everyone is getting fooled daily. The internet is a minefield of nonsense, so my brain immediately said, “No chance. This is fake.”

Then the NBA posted it.

Well. Shit.

If that clip is real, and it sure looks like it is, then what are we even doing here?

How is that humanly possible? How does someone casually flick a basketball from the tunnel and drain it like it is a free throw?

The most insane part is how effortless it looks, like it is something Steph could do ten times in a row if he actually felt like it. And then you remember who we are talking about.

This is the same guy who completely broke basketball. Steph Curry reprogrammed how offenses work. He’s the same guy who made 35-foot pull-up threes feel normal. This is the same Steph Curry who turns elite defenders into traffic cones and takes shots that would get anyone else benched immediately.

So maybe the simplest explanation is the right one.

Steph Curry is not a normal human. He is some sort of basketball demon. That was not a man shooting a ball from the tunnel into the hoop.

That was dark magic. That was witchcraft. That was Steph Curry reminding everyone that after all these years, he is still doing things that make absolutely no sense.
