WATCH: 49ers’ radio host Mark Willard says Eagles fans aren’t as ‘scary as they think’ in one of the dumbest rants you’ll hear all week
We should just get the obvious out of the way first. 49ers sports talk radio host Mark Willard looks like a retarded horse. It sounds harsh but I think it’s an almost perfect comparison.
Now let’s get to what matters.
If the 49ers fanbase and Mark Willard wants to talk his shit before the game on Sunday, I honestly have zero issue with it.
First reason why is the fact that what he’s attempting to say makes absolutely zero sense. There isn’t an Eagles fan in the lots acting like they are “big and scary” and being massive assholes to opposing fanbases.
Obviously, there’s some shit talking but let’s not pretend it’s any different in any other city come playoff time. That’s dishonest and stupid.
One request for Mark Willard and 49ers fans:
Let’s just make sure that following the game, there won’t be any bullshit posts from 49ers fans crying about Eagles fans, the city of Philadelphia, and what happens at tailgates and in the stands.
That seems like a fair deal, right?
Here’s the truth. The 49ers are a bunch of cornballs. Always have been. Fake tough fanbase. Crisis actors masquerading as sports talk radio hosts.
They are a franchise that talks like a dynasty but in reality, they are barely even considered a runner up banner factory. That’s saying something, considering Eagles fans have to deal with the Dallas Cowboys twice a year.
We have seen this schtick before with 49ers fans.
Back in 2023, Bonta Hill and Joe Shasky, who apparently do the morning show for 95.7 The Game in San Francisco, came to Philly for the NFC Championship game.
These two idiots hopped on the radio and started talking a bunch of shit, calling everyone in Philly a bunch of “fake gangsters” while naming the Eagles as the number one team on their “hit list.”
Mark Willard is basically taking that exact script and switching up the words. It’s unoriginal and honestly, embarrassing.
We soon learned that Bonta Hill and Joe Shasky were nothing more than crisis actors.
After their cute, completely false rant about how vile and heinous Eagles fans were to 49ers fans in attendance, pictures surfaced of those two idiots having the time of their life throughout the city and at the game itself.

Plus, I was in the lots at 6AM and Sunday morning, attended the game, partied in the parking lots afterwards, and watched about a million videos online of the celebrations down Broad Street and I haven’t seen one “bad thing” anywhere.
If you want further evidence of that, I provided it.
The Philadelphia Police Reports showed there wasn’t any “vile, low-life, heinous acts” on Sunday. Eagles fans knew that already because in reality, it was a time of celebration and joy because the Eagles advanced to the Super Bowl.
Point Being: Mark Willard can hop on radio looking like a retarded horse and say whatever he wants about the Philadelphia Eagles and our fanbase.
I just don’t want to hear any bullshit on Game Day about how horrible Eagles fans are or a bunch of false narratives floating around where he and the entire 49ers fanbase are crying because they just watched their team get absolutely destroyed, only to have their pathetic fanbase heckled in the process.
