Jaxson Dart may have accidentally revealed who the next New York Giants head coach will be

Jaxson Dart and the New York Giants are currently on the hunt for a new head coach. And thanks to some internet lip readers doing the Lord’s work, it looks like Dart may have accidentally let the cat out of the bag.

Dart was in attendance for the Ole Miss vs. Miami College Football Playoff game on Thursday night. When cameras panned to him on the sideline, it appeared someone asked who the Giants’ next head coach will be. Dart’s response?

“Either Harbaugh or Stefanski.”

Honestly, I have no idea how anyone landed on this conclusion. I can’t tell what Jaxson Dart said at all, or even what the Ole Miss assistant supposedly asked him. This feels like a whole lot of hoopla over nothing.

This is one of those moments where Giants fans are trying to manifest something into existence. And look, when you’ve been as bad as the Giants have been, I get it. You need hope. In dark times like this, it’s the only thing that keeps you moving forward.

I just don’t think that’s what he actually said.
