Apparently Kevin Patullo cried to friends during the season, complaining that everyone’s hard on him and that the offense sucking ass wasn’t his fault
I need the “Kevin Patullo has been fired” tweet like I need air. Every minute that goes by, I get more pissed off, and I somehow find yet another reason this guy needs to be launched out of the building.
The latest example came from Richard Sherman on Nick Foles’ podcast. Apparently this happened a week ago, but it’s only starting to make the rounds now… for pretty obvious reasons.
Kevin Patullo wants a pity party
There’s really no way to spin this positively for Kevin Patullo — if it’s true, of course.
Because if it is? It’s not some “behind-the-scenes human moment.” It’s just bitching. And nobody in this city has time for bitching. I don’t. You don’t. And I know Howie Roseman doesn’t.
Even telling people “this whole thing isn’t my fault” is so sad and pathetic. I thought the team’s whole motto was accountability. What happened to that?
You run the offense. Figure it out.
You’ve got elite players everywhere. Figure it out.
You’ve got a whole support system of coaches around you who have called plays before. Lean on them.
The last thing you do is go cry to your friends looking for sympathy because people are being “too hard” on you.
You’re not getting it from me.
I need this guy out. Like, yesterday.
