Milton Williams has a chance to pull off The Reverse Chris Long on Super Bowl Sunday

Milton Williams won a Super Bowl with the Birds last season, and now he has a chance to do the thing again this year — just with the New England Patriots.

If he pulls it off, it won’t just be ring No. 2. It would also complete The Reverse Chris Long.

As you probably remember, when the Eagles won it all in 2017, they had both Chris Long and LeGarrette Blount on the roster. Both guys were coming over from New England, where they won Super Bowl LI the year before against the Atlanta Falcons.

I’ve got nothing but love for Hurricane Milton.

When he signed his deal this past offseason, $104 million with $63M guaranteed, a lot of folks tried to say Williams was “just chasing the bag.” Which is such a hilarious insult to throw at someone. Like getting a massive pay raise isn’t literally everyone’s ambition.

And even with the bag secured, Williams is still out here winning ball games.

At this point, he might be the only reason I have any rooting interest in this game.
