Curling 360 Trick Shot Norway Olympic Games

WATCH: Norwegian Magnus Ramsfjell hit a 360 curling trick shot and stuck it right on the nose

Nobody had curling on their bingo card for sport of the Olympics and yet here we are.

America has caught a full blown case of curling fever at Milano Cortina and honestly it has been completely earned. Cory Thiesse and Korey Dropkin playing for gold in mixed doubles, the women’s team in medal contention, and of course the curling cheating controversy that grabbed the entire sporting world and refused to let go.

More eyes have been on curling at these Olympics than probably any point in the sport’s history, and the sport has delivered at every turn.

So naturally, with all of that attention and momentum building, Norwegian curler Magnus Ramsfjell decided it was time to remind everyone who the showmen of the sport really are. Down bad to Switzerland in the bronze medal match, already getting absolutely cooked, Ramsfjell stepped up to deliver the final stone and decided that was the perfect moment to bust out a 360 spin delivery and stick it right on the nose.

360 CURLING TRICK SHOT

Cold blooded. Completely unnecessary. Absolutely perfect.

The context makes it even better. Norway was already losing badly so it’s not like he was icing a championship with this thing, but that almost makes it worse in the best possible way. You still have to land the shot. You still have to hold the line with the right weight after spinning like you’re trying to win a figure skating medal. And he did it. With stank on it.

You watch regular curlers like Tate barely staying upright just delivering a stone normally and it’s genuinely impressive. This man decided normal was not enough and executed a move that had no business working as cleanly as it did.

Someone needs to hit this shot with an actual gold medal on the line at the 2030 Olympics. The sport demands it at this point.
