NYPD Officers Snowball Fight Washington Square Park

Two NYPD Officers showed up to a snowball fight in Washington Square Park and got absolutely wrecked

Only in New York City. There was a massive snowball fight happening in Washington Square Park and two NYPD officers decided to show up. What followed is one of the more confusing videos you will see this week.

They walked up and down the sidewalk for what felt like a very long time getting absolutely pelted from every direction while seemingly trying to figure out their own approach to the situation in real time.

They shoved a few kids into the snow. They looked genuinely annoyed. They did not leave. They did not join in. They just kind of walked around taking snowballs to the face while the crowd fully committed to the bit.

Look, if the NYPD is going to respond to a snowball fight in Washington Square Park you have two real options. You join in, become heroes, and go viral for all the right reasons.

Or you stay out of it entirely and let the kids throw snowballs at each other in peace, which is a thing that has been happening since the invention of snow and does not require a patrol response.

What you do not do is pace up and down the sidewalk looking frustrated while the entire crowd unloads on you for an extended period of time on camera. That is the third option and based on this video it is the worst one available.

Let the kids have the snowball fight. Save yourselves the walk.
