The Pro-Kevin Patullo propaganda tour is in full swing
Kevin Patullo has friends in the media. That much is obvious.
Throughout the 2025 season, a steady stream of leaks came out of the Eagles building about the offense, and almost all of them seemed designed to shield Patullo from any real scrutiny. That’s not a coincidence.
We know Patullo feeds stories to the media because he was careless enough to attach his name to one of them, like when he told Ryan Fitzpatrick that fans are too hard on him.
Embarrassing stuff, but it somehow pales in comparison to the latest wave of pro–Kevin Patullo spin making the rounds after his firing. Not long after being let go by the Eagles, Patullo resurfaced in Miami with new Dolphins head coach Jeff Hafley. According to Hafley, Patullo is a genius offensive mind. In fact, he reportedly pushed ownership to bring Patullo in as the team’s passing game coordinator.
Kevin Patullo is a dumbass, don’t let the propaganda fool you
If this guy is such a goddamn genius, why didn’t Miami hire him as their offensive coordinator? Instead, he’s stepping into the same role he held in Philly for most of his tenure. Offensive geniuses don’t usually see their career paths stall out. Patullo did. That pretty much says it all.
On top of Hafley’s praise, Mike Garafolo chimed in as well, basically urging everyone not to believe what they watched with their own eyes. Classic propaganda tactic.
Usually, revisionist history needs a few years before it gets its shot. We’re, what, two months removed from his firing? And we’re already speed-running the Kevin Patullo character rehab tour.
We all saw what happened in 2025. If anyone can point to something Patullo did that tangibly improved this team’s performance, I’m all ears. I understand Nick Sirianni likely played a bigger role in the offense’s struggles. I’m also well aware that a competent offensive coordinator can overcome that, as we’ve seen with guys like Kellen Moore and Shane Steichen.
If KP is some boy wonder in your eyes, cool. You can keep him.
