WATCH: VJ Edgecombe defends Embiid’s honor, calls out NBA Deep State for constantly attacking him

VJ Edgecombe is quickly becoming a fan favorite in this city. Not only because he’s the brightest young star playing in Philadelphia right now — he carries himself like a Philly athlete as well. Cool, calm, and collected, but when he needs to, he’ll speak up.

Edgecombe took that initiative Thursday night, after the 76ers defeated Miami 124-117. In the waning seconds of the contest, Joel Embiid hit the dagger three to put the game away.

After the win, Edgecombe defended Embiid’s honor, telling reporters that he’s a dawg, through and through, despite what the media says about him.
