AJ Brown’s camp has been doing “recon” on potential trade landing spots
This AJ Brown situation is taking years off my life. Just as I got the news a few weeks ago that my metabolic age is 28; which is two years above my current age of 26. So, how lovely, we’ve got some work to do.
Nonetheless, According to Albert Breer, AJ Brown’s camp has been doing “recon” on potential landing spots and gauging which teams would have genuine interest if a trade were to happen.
Yet another AJ Brown rumor surfaces

“Brown's camp has done recon, too, on potential landing spots and which have a genuine interest. So, while [Howie] Roseman quietly has had talks,… pic.twitter.com/BY4y4TtoQG
Just a few days ago we heard that Howie Roseman’s asking price for AJ was unserious. As it should be. That doesn’t sound like a front office trying to move a star receiver. That sounds like a GM saying he will listen, but that’s about it.
And if there’s one thing we know about Howie Roseman, it’s that he doesn’t blink. He doesn’t move out of emotion. And he definitely doesn’t let outside noise dictate roster decisions.
Do I Believe AJ’s Camp Is Testing the Waters?
Honestly? Yeah. I don’t doubt it. This is the NFL. Agents do recon. Players want leverage. Teams explore options. That’s business. But here’s where I land:
Just because you check Zillow doesn’t mean you’re selling your house
At this point, I don’t know what to believe fully. There’s smoke. But smoke in the NFL doesn’t always mean fire. Sometimes it just means negotiations are ongoing.
And if I’m AJ Brown, of course I’d want to know my value. He’s one of the most dominant wide receivers in football. Physical. Emotional. A tone-setter. A game-breaker.

But let’s talk reality.
The best place for A.J. Brown is right here in Philly. This offense, especially a revamped one under Sean Mannion, is expected to feature him heavily. Word coming out is that Brown is viewed as a focal point of what this new system wants to do.
At the end of the day, I trust Howie Roseman to do what’s best for the Philadelphia Eagles.
