Phillies Spring Breakout Roster 2026 Dante Nori

Phillies’ top three prospects remain focused on The Show, but the 2026 Spring Breakout is still worth watching

The three best prospects in the Phillies system are not going to be at Spring Breakout because they are too busy trying to make the actual team.

Justin Crawford is a lock for the Opening Day center field job. Andrew Painter, coming off that two-inning gem against the Yankees last Sunday, is a lock for the rotation.

Aidan Miller, the number one prospect in the system and the 23rd best prospect in all of baseball according to MLB Pipeline, is dealing with a sore lower back and will be monitored carefully before any timeline for his promotion gets discussed.

Those three are the headliners and none of them will be at Spring Breakout which is fine, because there is still plenty to watch.

Spring Breakout runs March 19-22 at Grapefruit and Cactus League stadiums.

Phillies Schedule: Twins in Fort Myers – March 19 | Toronto in Clearwater on March 21

Both games are available on MLB.TV, MLB.com, and the MLB App. The March 21 game against Toronto is on NBC Sports Philadelphia as well.

The name to know on the position player side is Dante Nori, the 27th overall pick in the 2024 Draft who is currently playing for Italy in the World Baseball Classic.

His high school coach compared him to Lenny Dykstra, which is a very specific kind of compliment for a prototypical leadoff hitter type. He will be back in time for Spring Breakout.

Infielder Aroon Escobar at number six in the system has been climbing the rankings among evaluators. Carson DeMartini, Kehden Hettiger, Bryan Rincon, and Keaton Anthony are all in big league camp as non-roster invitees and give you a sense of the organizational depth the Phillies have been quietly building.

On the pitching side the name that stands out is Gage Wood, the 26th overall pick in the 2025 Draft. The comparisons to Aaron Nola’s trajectory through the system are already being made and if he moves anywhere near as fast as Nola did, the Phillies are going to have a decision to make sooner rather than later.

Matthew Fisher, a seventh-round pick in 2025 who received a $1.25 million bonus to skip college, the highest ever for a seventh-round selection, is also someone worth monitoring.

Phillies 2026 Roster for Spring Breakout >>

The Phillies are a franchise that is winning now with Bryce Harper and Zack Wheeler and Cristopher Sanchez, and also building toward what comes next with Crawford, Painter, Miller, Wood, and Nori all either in the pipeline or already knocking on the door.

Spring Breakout is the chance to see the next wave up close. Do not sleep on it.
