End Of An Era: The Exciting Whites have officially been dismantled after Reed Blankenship’s departure
It’s the end of an era in Philadelphia, as the now-infamous “Exciting Whites” duo of Cooper DeJean and Reed Blankenship has officially been dismantled.

Honestly, this was the worst part of the free agency kickoff for the Birds.
Not just because they lost a captain on defense, but because now we can’t say the Eagles have two white defensive backs anymore. That meant something to me, God dammit.
If I were Howie Roseman, I’d make it a priority to bring in another white defensive back this offseason. It’s only right. And if history tells us anything, the Eagles tend to be at their best when they’ve got a couple of white boys holding it down on the backend.
