JJ Redick says the NBA basketballs are microchipped and he’s absolutely right
JJ Redick went on record saying the basketballs the NBA uses are rigged with microchips and that is why the Lakers had five shots go in and out against the Wizards on Monday night. The Lakers won 120-101 anyway and beat the Cavs 127-123 last night so none of this ultimately mattered for Los Angeles but that is beside the point.
The point is that JJ Redick is correct and I will tell you exactly why I know that.
JJ Redick says basketballs in the NBA are microchipped…
Game 7. Sixers and Raptors. Toronto. 2019. I am not posting the video. If you are reading this you already know what happened and nobody needs to suffer through it again. You can have your own personal humiliation ritual and look it up yourself if you want to. I won’t be a part of it.
What I will say is that Kawhi Leonard blatantly traveled to get around Ben Simmons, took a shot that defied every known law of physics, and watched it bounce on the rim four times before dropping in to eliminate Philadelphia and completely ruin my life.
There is no rational explanation for what happened to that basketball. Gravity does not work that way. The rim does not behave that way. The only logical conclusion is that the ball was microchipped and the rim was magnetic and the whole thing was orchestrated by forces beyond our understanding.
Welcome to the show, JJ Redick. Happy to have you.
So yes. Microchipped basketballs are real. JJ Redick sees it. I see it. The 76ers fanbase has been living with the evidence for seven years. The Lakers had five shots go in and out against the Washington Wizards and Redick raised the alarm immediately.
Good on him. Someone had to say it.
The Lakers are fine. The Sixers are still scarred. The basketballs are absolutely rigged.
