Tyson Foerster is BACK tonight against the Red Wings

The Flyers are getting a major boost to their lineup tonight in their matchup against the Detroit Red Wings at 7 pm.

Tyson Foerster, who has been out of the lineup since he suffered an upper-body/arm injury in a December 1st game against the Pittsburgh Penguins, is BACK tonight:

This is fantastic news for the Flyers, who are 2 behind CBJ for WC2 with a game in hand, and 3 points behind the Islanders in the Metro with 2 games in hand.

Tyson Foerster had 10G-3A-13P in his first 21 games of the season. He was one of the bright spots to start the season, and the Flyers sorely missed his goal-scoring ability.

I don’t expect him to come back and continue shooting at the 24.4% clip he was before getting injured—but having that shot back in the line-up (and PP) is a huge positive for the Flyers

Speaking of the PP. Here are the two units:

The Flyers now have two units that can actually cause damage. Martone and Michkov together on power play 2 (along with Tippett) and Z, TK, and Tyson Foerster all on one unit is extremely solid.

I don’t want to get toooooo ahead of myself. But this is seriously one of the deepest Flyers lineups in terms of wingers, at least that I’ve seen in a long time. It’s fun.

Let’s Go, Flyers fans!!
