WATCH: Kevin Durant drops Dillon Brooks in hilarious video that surfaces during Rockets vs. Suns
Dillon Brooks, last night was doing what he normally does on the basketball court. Nothing new there. The man has made an entire career out of annoying people. The problem? He chose the wrong guy in Kevin Durant last night.
Not only did Kevin Durant cook Brooks last night on the court, but he dug his grave for him following the game as well.

What made this even better was Durant’s response after the game when reporters tried to give Brooks the credit for lighting a fire under him.
He wasn’t having it.
“I’m not giving him that — he doesn’t get that kind of credit with me,” Durant said. “Maybe some other guys may turn up because he talks to them, but he’s not that important or special to me to get me going. I wake up getting ready to play. But I respect Dillon, I respect what he brings to the game. I think that gets him going more than me. I just happened to get that ball right afterwards and make a good move.”

A good move. That’s what he called it. The man is 37 years old, put Dillon Brooks on the floor in front of his own home crowd, and described it as a good move. That is why I have always loved KD personally.
A Little Extra Context Makes This Even Better
This wasn’t just any regular season game. This was Kevin Durant returning to Phoenix for the first time since the Suns traded him away after two and a half seasons. He walked into that building and got a mixed bag of cheers and boos during pregame introductions, then went out and dropped 24 points while shooting 5-of-9 from three.
And if you want the cherry on top, Durant, Brooks, and Jalen Green were all essentially swapped for each other in a massive seven-team deal this past offseason. So Brooks is now a Sun, Durant is a Rocket, and on Tuesday night Durant came back to Phoenix and personally embarrassed the guy his old team traded him for.
