Micah Parsons continues his yearly tradition of talking about the Eagles during Draft Weekend

Micah Parsons will always be a strange cat to me.

The guy swears up and down that he doesn’t want to come to Philly. But every time someone puts a mic in front of him, he can’t stop talking about the Eagles.

As expected, he kept his yearly tradition alive during draft weekend. First, he fired off a tweet about a topic he clearly knows nothing about, the AJ Brown drama.

Like a bunch of national sports pundits right now, Parsons is starting to shift the blame for the whole AJ thing onto Eagles fans. Which could not be further from the truth.

This whole revisionist history on the AJ Brown stuff is the amusing part. Not just because it was predictable, but because clowns like Micah Parsons really seem to believe it.

The guy just talks to talk. Nothing he said there is worth taking seriously.

I’m not going to spend a ton of time explaining why Micah Parsons is wrong. Eagles fans never wanted to get rid of AJ Brown. A ton of them are still ride-or-die AJ truthers to this day, myself included.

Then came his weird interaction with Makai Lemon, the Eagles’ first-round pick.

I also find it weird how involved Parsons is in the media world right now. He’s not insightful. He’s not funny. He just says stuff, then people react because he’s Micah Parsons. Not sure what he adds to any panel he’s on, but that’s neither here nor there.

Bleacher Report had Lemon on right after the Birds drafted him. Instead of acting like a normal person, Parsons started laughing in Makai’s face just because he was drafted by Philly.

You know, the team Parsons would die to be part of.

What a sad, sad little man.

In hindsight, I’m kind of glad the Eagles didn’t end up trading for Parsons. Sure, he’s really good at football. I just can’t stand him as a person.

He might be the most insufferable player in the league right now. Just a big dummy who keeps farting words out of his mouth about stuff he clearly does not understand.

Not my cup of tea, personally.
