Makai Lemon will wear No. 9 after receiving Nick Foles’ blessing
During his introductory press conference on Thursday, Makai Lemon told reporters he’ll be wearing number nine with the Birds. He’ll be the first Eagle to wear that number since our lord and savior Nick Foles wore it back in 2018.
Makai seemed to understand the history of the number when asked about it, and he also made sure to let everyone know that Foles actually gave him his blessing to wear it.

I can’t wait to see this guy on the field. If AJ brown gets traded, our top two receivers will be No. 6 and No. 9. I love it. The 69 duo will feed families in the Delaware Valley.
With rookie minicamp set to get underway this week, I’m sure we’ll start seeing Makai Lemon highlights flood the timeline within the next 24 hours.
