Guardians fan went all-in for a foul ball, missed it, and drenched his girl in the process
This Guardians fan had no other choice. He had to go for the foul ball. There was no other option. He couldn’t just sit in his seat next to a lovely lady, presumably his wife or girlfriend, and let that baseball sail right over his head.
That’s not how this works. When a foul ball comes your way, you go all-in, no exceptions. Thankfully this Guardians fan understood the assignment but the unfortunate part was that he couldn’t bring it down.
He jumped, almost grabbed the ball, gravity took over, and the drink he was holding went directly into the poor girl’s face. Then her nachos got obliterated in the chaos. Full collateral damage and the clip is incredible.
Guardians fan misses foul ball:

Here’s the thing though. She laughed it off. Didn’t flinch. Didn’t get mad. Didn’t give him the death stare that ends relationships on the spot. She took it like an absolute champ and that right there tells you everything you need to know.
That’s a keeper. Most women would have been furious. Most women would have made the car ride home feel like a hostage negotiation.
This girl got a drink dumped on her head and nachos scattered across her lap at a baseball game and her reaction was to laugh about it.
You can’t be mad at max effort. The man saw the ball, committed fully, and came up short. It happens. The important thing is that he went for it because if he had just sat there and watched the ball land two rows behind him, she’d be dating someone else by the end of the week. Women respect effort. They don’t respect a guy who watches a foul ball fly over his head without moving.
Hopefully the car ride home was just as peaceful as her in-game reaction. If it was, this guy needs to lock that down immediately. Buy her whatever she wants for the rest of her life because a woman who laughs off getting drenched at a baseball game while her food gets destroyed is a once-in-a-lifetime find.

10/10 take, she’s a champ and a keeper. It’s nice to seeing appreciation for his efforts instead of him getting clowned. Not everyone would make the catch but we all instinctively will go for that ball.
