Jeremy Sochan chirps VJ Edgecombe after 76ers defeat despite getting one minute of playing time
No one likes when a bench player starts chirping like he’s a starter. VJ Edgecombe got that lesson firsthand Wednesday night after the Sixers’ 108-102 loss, when Knicks bench warmer Jeremy Sochan decided it was his moment to start talking.
VJ Edgecombe, just swing on him next time
Just hit him, VJ. Wind up and give him some sweet chin music. Let everyone freak out, then when the Knicks come to Philly, we, as a city, handle the rest.
Kidding. Need to make that clear before the terrorists in New York lose their minds because I joked about beating up their players. Which, for the record, I absolutely could. Especially KAT. Unfortunately for me, it would be a hate crime because he is a gay black man and I am a straight white man.
The optics would be too rough, the legal fees would be outrageous, and I simply have too much to lose.
VJ Edgecombe could probably get away with it, though.
I understand that is not the sportsmanship thing to do here. I get it. Take your anger out on the court. But would it be funny? Obviously. Life’s too short to let a great comedic moment like that slip away.
Anyway, Sixers in 6.
