Vice Admiral Robert Howard went on Fox News and the internet is convinced he was wearing a silicone mask
The internet lost its mind this week over a clip of a retired Navy SEAL appearing on Fox News because a significant portion of the internet believes the man was wearing a hyper-realistic silicone mask of retired Vice Admiral Robert Howard.
Obviously, the clip went crazy and the conspiracy theories went viral. I get it, because after watching the full five-minute video myself, I’m going to be honest with you. It looks like a mask to me.
Is this thing wearing a silicone mask on Fox News?
Obviously, I don’t know anything about this guy.
I have no inside information on Fox News’ production decisions. I’m not a makeup artist or a special effects expert. I’m just a guy who watched a five-minute clip on the internet and noticed that something around the neck and jawline doesn’t look right.
Sorry Fox News, But Something isn’t right here..lol
The skin doesn’t move naturally. There’s a visible line where the face meets the neck. The texture changes. It looks off. Whether that’s a mask, a glitchy smooth-face filter, a bad makeup job, or just an unfortunate combination of lighting and camera angle, I genuinely cannot tell you.
The Realistic Explanation Is Probably Boring
The most likely explanation is that Fox News uses some kind of on-air smoothing filter and it glitched around the neck area, creating what looks like a seam between the face and the rest of the body.
Or the makeup artist went a little heavy. Or the lighting caught a shadow at the worst possible angle. Or the man just has an unusual neck-to-face transition that looks weird on camera. All of those are more plausible than a cable news network investing in movie-quality prosthetic masks for their military commentators.
Probably, but also, who knows anymore?
Everything is so fucked right now that I genuinely don’t know what’s real and what isn’t. The government is releasing UFO files and claiming they’ve recovered four alien species. Former CIA officers are talking about hybrid breeding programs.
Academics are publishing papers about genetically engineering ticks to make people allergic to meat. The Epstein files are still locked away. The news in general has become so unreliable that you can’t trust anything you see on any screen.
So is a man wearing a hyper-realistic mask on Fox News really the most unbelievable thing happening right now? In the current landscape of absolute insanity? A cable news network using actors in masks to fill programming slots is honestly one of the more tame conspiracy theories floating around the internet this week.
Compared to alien breeding centers and government tick programs, masked Fox News guests barely registers on the weirdness scale.
Think about it this way. We don’t have actual evidence of aliens yet but we do have multiple government officials claiming there are four alien species allegedly among us. Grays, Nordics, Insectoids, and Reptilians.
The Nordics supposedly look like people from northern Europe. If you were an alien species trying to blend in with humans on Earth and go on Fox News to deliver military analysis without anyone noticing, you’d need a pretty convincing disguise.
A hyper-realistic silicone mask would be exactly how you’d do it. Just like Mr. Vice Admiral Robert Howard or whoever the hell is in these videos.
I’m not saying the guy on Fox News is a Nordic alien in a silicone mask delivering conservative military commentary on cable television. But I’m also not not saying that. Because at this point in 2026, that explanation is barely more ridiculous than anything the government has officially acknowledged in the last month.
I watched the video. It looks like a mask. It’s probably not a mask. But in a world where nothing is what it seems and everything could be a psyop, who the hell knows anymore. I certainly don’t.
