Here’s the Philadelphia Phillies 2027 schedule

The Phillies’ 2027 schedule dropped on Thursday.

Trust me, I know we’re in the middle of a pennant race with the trade deadline two weeks away and 63 games left in a season where the Phillies are 55-44 and two games back in the NL East but the schedule release is one of those annual moments where you can’t help scrolling through every series and mentally mapping out the season before the current one is even close to finished.

The Phillies open on the road with six straight against NL East opponents. Three in Washington starting March 25 followed by three in Miami against the Marlins. That’s a soft opening-week schedule against two teams that should be in the bottom half of the division again next year, giving the Phillies a chance to start with a winning record before coming home to Citizens Bank Park on April 1 for the home opener against the Nationals.

Phillies 2027 Schedule: Key Dates and Series to Know

The opening homestand runs seven games with four against Washington from April 1-4 and three against Detroit from April 6-8. From there the schedule fills out with some serious matchups throughout the summer.

Season highlights include the Dodgers coming to the Bank April 20-22, the Mets from May 4-6, and the Pirates from July 16-18. Interleague play brings the Angels to town May 21-23, the Orioles June 4-6, and the Red Sox July 27-29.

The Phillies Holiday Schedule Is Finally Loaded With Home Games

The Phillies will be at Citizens Bank Park for every major holiday weekend on the calendar. Mother’s Day weekend May 7-9 against the Braves. Father’s Day weekend June 18-20 against the Giants. Independence Day weekend July 2-4 against the Mariners. Labor Day weekend September 3-5 against the Mets.

Every holiday weekend at home means the Phillies are going to be playing in front of sellout crowds during the four biggest attendance weekends of the summer, and the Braves on Mother’s Day and the Mets on Labor Day are the kind of divisional matchups that could carry serious playoff implications depending on where the NL East stands in May and September.

September Belongs to the Phillies

This is the big one. The Phillies end the 2027 season with six consecutive home games. Three against the Cubs from September 21-23 followed by three against the Nationals the weekend of September 24-26.

Fifteen of their 24 September games will be played at Citizens Bank Park. That kind of home-field advantage down the stretch is a scheduling gift that could be the difference between winning the division and settling for the Wild Card.

Playing 15 of 24 at the Bank in September with a crowd that has been electric all year gives the Phillies a built-in edge during the pennant race that most teams would trade significant assets to have.

The schedule release coming in July instead of late August like last year is a nice touch from MLB. Fans want to plan around the schedule and waiting until late August always felt unnecessarily late. Promotions, giveaways, and special events for the 2027 season will be announced later this year.

For now the 2027 schedule is something to glance at and file away.

The only dates that matter are the 63 games remaining on the 2026 calendar and the August 3 trade deadline that will determine whether this roster gets the reinforcements it needs.

The Phillies are 55-44 and sitting two games behind Atlanta with the second half just getting started and the Dodgers coming to town next week for the most important series of the homestand.
