WATCH: AJ Brown can’t get open at Training Camp, Eagles Twitter drags him

AJ Brown can’t seem to create any separation at Patriots training camp, at least from the few videos we’ve seen of him thus far.

Mr. Always Open is getting older. Eagles fans were calling this out last season and it was one of the main things that helped me get over the trade. The best way to think about it is that AJ Brown is a better version of Deebo Samuel. He’s all physicality and athleticism. Once that starts to deteriorate, his game is going to fall off a cliff.

Case and point, his matchups with Christian Gonzalez at Pats camp.

Does one video suddenly vindicate everything Eagles fans have been saying over the past year? No. But it adds at least some validity to it.

The pads aren’t on yet and this is literally the first week of camp. I’m not jumping to conclusions just yet. I also won’t hesitate to say I told you so when this kind of shit is the norm.
