Fauci Song Pleads the Fifth

If we can’t arrest Dr. Anthony Fauci then the kid who sang the Fauci Song will have to do

Anthony Fauci strolled into the Senate on Wednesday, pleaded the Fifth 111 times.

One hundred and eleven times. The self-anointed voice of “the science,” the little man in the lab coat who spent three years telling America that he personally was the truth and that anyone who questioned him was a science-denying conspiracy theorist, sat in a court room under oath and refused to answer a single meaningful question about what he did to this country.

The great communicator suddenly had nothing to say.

Funny how that works, right?

For three years, Anthony Fauci demanded that the public trust him, shut up, and comply. He was the science, questioning him was heresy and then the second he was put under oath and asked to defend any of it, he hid behind the Fifth Amendment 111 times like a man sitting on a mountain of things he’d rather nobody see.

Let’s be honest about what that spectacle actually was. An innocent man with nothing to conceal answers the questions. He explains himself. He sets the record straight. Fauci did the exact opposite, over and over, because he knows what’s in his own emails, he knows what he said behind closed doors, and he knows how violently it contradicts everything he told the American people.

The Fifth is his right, sure. He’s also holding a very convenient pardon from the last administration. Fine. Whatever. None of that changes what everyone watching understood in their gut yesterday. Kick rocks with the legal strategies and any left-right leaning politics. We all just witnessed a confession of a different kind, and the whole country should be pissed about it.

Side Note: Gotta arrest this kid if you can’t arrest Fauci.

Let’s Rewind: COVID was a parallel universe

Look, everyone tangled up in this stinks and I’m not here to carry water for any political team but I remember exactly how the internet and the general public behaved during COVID, because I lived it.

I wrote an article about JT Realmuto declining the vaccine so he could play in Canada against the Blue Jays, and for that I got death threats. Someone followed me from my house all the way up I-95 to the Northeast trying to run me off the road.

Over a baseball column. That actually happened.

I said it then, and I’ll say it again.

I did not give a shit if someone is vaccinated or unvaccinated. It was really that easy. It was what I thought and if you thought and still think otherwise, I respect your opinion.

For me it was easy. I don’t make judgements about people based on what type of medical attention they receive and I definitely don’t make judgements about peoples presumed political affiliation.

None of that mattered during the chaos of COVID. The internet couldn’t handle the fact that some people choose to not get vaccinated. They immediately assigned labels like “anti-vaxxers” and turn into social media doctors, demanding that people agree with them and comply, comply, comply… leaving no room for individual thought and freedom.

It was nauseating and honestly, embarrassing.

Now that we actually know what was really going on, it’s even more crazy. I’m a grudge guy, and I’m not going to pretend it doesn’t feel good to watch the truth catch up to all of it.

This wasn’t just me. This happened to people all over the country. Regular people got smeared, censored, fired, and harassed for asking fair questions, and everyone from Fauci on down was complicit in the environment that made it possible.

That’s the part I’ll never let go of.

Now, when the government has leaked Fauci emails and his dumb little diary where all the lies are exposed, this creep is protected by a full pardon and has the audacity to sit on in court and plead the Fifth 111 times.

How can we as a society collectively move past COVID?

The guy running the show over two administrations during the heart of the pandemic won’t tell us anything. This is insane, right? Trust me, I’m not downplaying the severity of the virus. Over 1 million people died worldwide.

We spent nearly two years in quarantine. People were shamed into getting vaccinated, and wearing masks while being completely isolated. That’s nightmare fuel. The world has changed after COVID-19 and we are still dealing with the virus every single day.

However, that doesn’t change the fact that people have the right to not only choose what type of medical treatment they receive, but also understand what really happened during the entire situation.

You do not want any government body telling you that you need to take vaccines and medication and you definitely don’t want pardons and the guy in charge of all of it pleading the fifth while his diary and emails expose the truth behind all of it.

Let’s get back to what happened with Fauci in his latest court appearance.

If this were just a story about an official who fumbled a once-in-a-century crisis, fine. Nobody had a crystal ball in 2020. If Fauci had been wrong and then owned it, apologized to the parents and the business owners and the kids whose lives he upended, I could find grace for that.

That’s not what happened. What we got was a man who knew one thing in private, told you the opposite in public, then lied about lying, and counted on his fan club in the press to bury the whole thing forever.

The Leaked Fauci Diaries Tell The Whole Story

In a June 2020 email to Deborah Birx, Fauci privately admitted he couldn’t even tie case surges to openings or closings, that they were “looking for the lost keys under the light of the lamppost.”

June. Of. 2020.

Fauci had that doubt sitting in his own head and kept it there while he publicly bludgeoned every governor who dared to reopen and demanded the closures roll on.

Kids lost years of learning. People lost everything they’d built. And the guy driving all of it privately wasn’t even convinced it worked. That’s a betrayal with a body count of ruined livelihoods, and then he had the sheer gall to deny it ever happened.

In 2023 he looked the New York Times dead in the eye and said, “Show me a school that I shut down and show me a factory that I shut down. Never. I never did.”

His own diary says he told officials in New York and California to do exactly that. He did it, he wrote it down, and then he lied about it to a newspaper too busy lighting candles at his altar to bother checking. You cannot be more shameless than that.

Masks on a Hunch. Fear Numbers He Knew Were Fake. A Lab Leak He Helped Bury.

An April 2020 email shows Fauci wanting to get “on board” with masking basically because “people are wearing them anyway.” Not a study. Not a shred of peer-reviewed data. That’s the rigorous, evidence-based science we were ordered to obey or get branded murderers by every major news outlet and every busybody dumb enough to lecture you at the grocery store.

The mortality rate? He privately pegged it “more like 0.2-0.3%,” then went on television and fed the public numbers many times higher. He knew, and he cranked the fear dial anyway, because a terrified country is an obedient country, and an obedient country makes you the most famous doctor on earth.

And the lab leak, now the leading explanation for where this thing came from. For years, if you so much as whispered it, you got smeared as a conspiracy theorist and scrubbed off the internet. The diary entries show the actual experts were nowhere near as certain as the public was told, openly discussing that the virus could have been engineered given the gain-of-function work in Wuhan.

They knew the question was wide open. They told you it was closed and settled. They did it to protect their funding, their reputations, and their own hides, then lied for years to keep the lid on. Every one of these is the same con, run again and again.

Fauci Was A Narcissist Who Believed His Own Press Clippings

Read the diaries and the thing that jumps off the page isn’t science. It’s ego. Fauci was an egotistical maniac, and his own words show page after page of him savoring his TV hits and his soaring fame while awards worth a small fortune got shoveled his way by people scrambling to be near him.

This was a man drunk on power he’d tripped into, too arrogant to change his mind when the facts changed, too addicted to the “infallible Saint Fauci” routine to ever admit he blew it. He didn’t just tolerate the myth. He fed on it.

The Press Should Be in the Dock Right Next to Him

None of it works without the media that turned a bureaucrat into a demigod. These are the same self-righteous “speak truth to power” journalists who spent three years doing the exact opposite, building a personality cult around a public official instead of asking him one genuinely hard question.

This is so fucking crazy to watch in 2026:

His own emails reference cozy relationships with prominent journalists who were supposed to be covering him. So of course the coverage was worship. You don’t grill a man you’re planning dinner with, right?

The watchdogs rolled over and asked for belly rubs, dissenters got censored and fired, and the guy at the center of it skated for years because the people whose entire job was accountability decided hagiography paid better.

Real Accountability. Not Another Garbage Viral Clip.

Here’s where I get off the ride, because I don’t want the theater. I don’t want the “senator DESTROYS Fauci” clip that trends for a day while absolutely nothing happens. Those clips are a scam and everyone knows it.

Somebody asks the tough question, somebody drops a cuss word for the highlight reel, and then there’s no investigation, no legislation, no reform, and the man walks out the door untouched.

That’s just the country getting played a second time by the same people.

What this actually demands is the real thing.

Sworn testimony he can’t wriggle out of. A legitimate investigation with full subpoena power that follows the evidence wherever it goes, and if it supports charges, then indict him and make him answer in open court like any other citizen who lied to the public from a seat of enormous power. No more velvet-glove treatment. No more cover from friendly anchors and a friendly White House. The same music anybody else would have to face.

And it has to come with reform that has teeth, or the next arrogant fraud just runs the same play. Independent review of the closure decisions. Real oversight and transparency on gain-of-function research and who funds it. Hard rules for public-health communication so “trust me, I’m the science” can never again replace actual evidence. Ironclad protection for dissenting scientists and ordinary people so nobody gets censored, fired, or run off I-95 for asking a fair question ever again.

Fauci pleaded the Fifth 111 times and figures he’ll do what he’s always done. Run out the clock behind his reputation and his media pals until the country gets bored and moves on. He shouldn’t get to. He lied, people got hurt in ways that don’t undo, and he has never once been forced to answer for it under oath with real consequences on the table.

Put him under oath he can’t dodge. Follow the evidence all the way down. And if it leads where a whole lot of us think it leads, treat him like any other citizen who lied to the public from a position of enormous power. No special treatment. No friendly media. No pardon-shaped escape hatch.

Just the truth, and finally, some accountability to go with it.

  1. 10/10 take. The social lesson is everyone needs to do what they think is best for themselves and what they put into their body. Theres no reason an athlete who has zero percent body fat and can run a mile without breaking a sweat should have been forced to take the shot. Also, not that anyone cares but Covid restrictions and actions done tanked the economy and no one talks about that enough. For major events like such total “recovery” is 8–15-year span. The interesting part of Covid is how bad it really was on an economic level. The same group of people who are complaining about inflation and homes being expensive are the same group that did whatever the government said to do, not thinking about the consequences down the line. The near zero interest rates (lower overall than ’08 which was not as long of a crisis) now have people “locked” in assets such as houses. Prices across the board skyrocketed. Anyone will tell you once prices go up, they generally don’t go down, they simply stop raising so quickly. So, to the people who are complaining about the cost of everything today and supported everything the government did during Covid, shut up this is directly your fault. Fauci should 1000% be made an example of.

  2. If Fauci in government is what Lizardo is on the Phillies, a killer cancer that leaves devastation in its wake.
