WATCH: Nothing better than this golden retriever and his new friend, a duck named Louie

It’s Sunday. I don’t know what everyone else is doing to kill time before the Phillies game, but last night I stumbled across a now-viral video that I have to share, because it’s exactly the kind of wholesome content the internet was made for.

The video follows a golden retriever who had fallen on some hard times after battling seizures, and how his family decided to get him a friend to help lift his spirits. That friend happens to be a duck named Louie and watching how Louie brought some genuine joy back into this dog’s life is honestly the best thing I’ve seen all week.

It’s just a heartwarming, feel-good story about an unlikely friendship, and we could all use a little of that on a Sunday.

The best part, though, is the pan over to the duck at the beginning of the intro. I don’t want to spoil it, but the timing of that shot is absolutely hilarious. I genuinely laughed out loud. It’s the perfect blend of sweet and funny, and it sets the whole thing up beautifully.

So do yourself a favor before first pitch today. Give it a watch. A golden retriever, a duck named Louie, and a friendship that’ll put a smile on your face heading into a Phillies Sunday. It’s sick. Enjoy it.
