USA Today leaves Eagles’ ‘Super Team’ out of Top-10 NFL Rankings

The Philadelphia Eagles are a super team until it comes time to actually rank teams.

The sports media is, for the most part, insufferable. Every year, we have to hear about how everything the Eagles do is discredited because they have a Super Team. Jalen Hurts, he isn’t shit he has a super team around him. Saquon Barkley, washed and isn’t good unless he has a good offensive line. Nick Sirianni, crazy Italian who farts out of his mouth every time he talks. That last one is kind of true, but you get the point.

USA Today released their top-10 team rankings ahead of the 2026 season, and you guessed it, the Birds are nowhere to be found.

Eagles’ Super Team misses the cut this year

  1. Rams
  2. Seahawks
  3. Broncos
  4. Bills
  5. Bears
  6. Texans
  7. 49ers
  8. Bengals
  9. Cowboys
  10. Lions

Genuinely, one of the worst rankings I’ve ever seen.

The Bengals? Joe Burrow is barley healthy these days, and even when he is, Cincy is a .500 team. Dallas…. Of course they’re here. They’re going to be the team everyone expects to get into the postseason this season and then fall off a cliff when the actual season starts. Houston has a CJ Stroud problem, Chicago had one of the easiest schedules in football last season, same with Denver.

It’s just a bad list.

Once October rolls around and the Eagles are 5-1, we’ll get back to the status quo of discrediting everything every player on the team does because, of course, it’s just a Super Team. That’s a detriment these days apparently. Wild times.
